Who is this course for?
Anyone working in the homelessness sector who is interested in exploring the
benefits of learning provision for those they work with.
What will we cover?
This course will challenge the perception that access to learning provision is a 'nice to have' for people experiencing homelessness. Through the testimonies of learners and staff, we will explore the range of benefits taking part in learning can bring. We will also examine the barriers to learning and how these can be overcome.
The course will support attendees to:

Explore the range of ways learning can be of benefit, both in skills development and beyond.

Identify barriers to learning faced by people experiencing homelessness.

Discuss how services can support those they work with to access learning provision.
